The Western Oklahoma Consolidated Agency is being established in Anadarko, with other agencies being consolidated there as well. The Department of Interior, Geological Survey of Oklahoma investigated the matter and found that all complaints were unfounded. They provided a detailed account of the oil production and royalty payments made by both Gulf Coast Western and Wilkonson. Mrs. Coons was advised to check with the Indian Agency at Pawnee to confirm that the payments had been credited to her account. The department also addressed her concerns about delays in payments on Indian leases compared to non-Indian leases, stating that they were not aware of any discrimination in payments.
