- Description:
- Mr. Raymond C. Gawhega sought help regarding the terracing of his allotment on the Otoe and Missouri reservation in Noble County, Oklahoma. The Bureau of Indian Affairs confirmed that an agreement had been reached between the lessee and the Government representative regarding the maintenance of the land, and the issue had been resolved. Mr. Gawhega was assured that no threats were made to issue a patent in fee or withdraw his leasing privileges. The Department of the Interior and Congressman Belcher were involved in addressing the matter.
