The number of pupils from each tribe varied, with some tribes having only one or two students while others had larger groups. Some of the tribes represented included Blackfeet, Cheyenne, Cherokee, Navajo, and Pima. Indian tribes and organizations in Oklahoma are concerned about delays in publishing the regulations and have specific concerns about program effectiveness, support services, administrative costs, and performance standards.
