- Description:
- During the 1971-72 school year, Chilocco Indian School had a diverse student body representing a wide range of tribes. The number of pupils from each tribe varied, with some tribes having only one or two students while others had larger groups. Some of the tribes represented included Blackfeet, Cheyenne, Cherokee, Navajo, and Pima. Overall, there was a total of 76 tribes represented at the school during that school year.
