Native American Legal Defense and Education Fund (NALDEF) has four main goals: to monitor the activities of the Federal government to make sure Indian interests are protected; to provide legal assistance to Native Americans at the local level; to litigate or help others litigate important legal issues affecting all Native Americans; and to provide competent, effective legal assistance to Native Americans at the local level.
