Programs like the Native American Legal Defense and Education Fund and the American Indian Investment Opportunities, Inc. were mere dreams a short year ago, but are now programs that are funded and in the process of being launched into full-blown reality. On a short-range basis, AIO hopes to develop into a broad-based organization with broad financial support in order to continue the work of enabler for Indian groups.
