<dcterms:description>Senator Elmer Thomas received a report regarding the payment to the Wyandotte Indians, and instructed Allen C. Johnson to contact the Superintendent for distribution of the funds. The Assistant Commissioner of Indian Affairs confirmed that funds were authorized for distribution to members of the Wyandotte Tribe. The Act of August 7, 1935 allowed for the withdrawal of funds for the tribe, and the General Accounting Office had made a settlement for the funds to be placed to the tribe's credit. Formal authority for distribution would be issued soon.</dcterms:description>
