- Description:
- In this radio report, Congressman Bob Dole discusses a bill he has recently introduced, an amendment to the Food for Peace Program that would create what he calls the Bread and Butter Corps. This would be a volunteer group, trained by land-grant colleges and sent to other countries to support farmers and provide agricultural training abroad. Dole explains that he intends for the Bread and Butter Corps to be a form of food support that does more than simply exporting American crops.
