- Description:
- In this weekly radio broadcast, Congressman Bob Dole discusses his frustration with Congress’ lack of action on anything important before the Easter recess and with the ever-increasing national debt. He also expresses his disagreement with the Administration’s restraint of Cuban exiles who wish to return to Cuba, and his belief that this is out of line with American values. Finally, he addresses the upcoming debate on feed grain legislation before the House of Representatives, explaining that it should happen after the wheat referendum and how delaying it would benefit farmers and allow for more flexibility in farm legislation for the upcoming year.
