- Description:
- In this weekly address, Congressman Bob Dole discusses the future of wheat legislation for the year, and urges those affected to write in and express their opinions on the matter. Dole feels that Agriculture Secretary Freeman and the Administration will not pursue any new legislation, and has sent Freeman a letter seeking clarification. He closes the broadcast by discussing whether farmers will lose history if they overplant their allotments in the event of no new legislation.
