- Chief Allen of the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe of Oklahoma expressed opposition to a Senate Concurrent Resolution that would transfer jurisdiction over their lands to the State. Congressman James R. Jones acknowledged Chief Allen's concerns and stated that he would keep them in mind if relevant legislation is considered at the federal level.
