- Description:
- Congressman James R. Jones recommended Mr. Charles Pack and Dr. David Webber to receive invitations to the 1979 National Prayer Breakfast. The Committee could only accept one name as an invitation prospect, so Congressman Jones recommended Dr. Webber. Mr. Pack and Dr. Webber expressed interest in attending the Prayer Breakfast together. Congressman Jones informed Mr. Pack that he was recommended for the 1978 Prayer Breakfast but couldn't attend due to a scheduling conflict. He offered to recommend Mr. Pack for the 1979 Prayer Breakfast.
