- Description:
- Four young Tulsans worked as interns for Representative James R. Jones in both his district and Washington offices, gaining insight into government operations. They performed tasks such as tallying questionnaires, researching, and attending seminars. The interns experienced red tape in Washington and gained a greater understanding of how the federal government operates. Each intern had different career aspirations and found the internship to be a valuable learning experience.
