- Description:
- Congressman James Malone visited the office to discuss a problem with the Postal Service Sick Leave provisions. Employees are reprimanded after missing 3 days of work in one quarter and put on restricted sick leave after missing 3 more days in another quarter. Restricted sick leave requires a doctor's excuse for every day missed and can last for months. Malone believes employees are harassed for not having an excuse and finds it juvenile. He plans to write a letter to address the issue.
