- Elmer Thomas writes to the Commissioner of Indian Affairs recommending that a delegation from the Kiowa, Comanche, and Apache tribes be authorized to come to Washington to appear before the Senate Committee on Appropriations. This recommendation is based on a message from Jasper Saunkeah's, a Kiowa Indian who is also a Deputy U.S. Marshal in Oklahoma City. Thomas requests that Saunkeah's wishes be complied with.
