- Description:
- R. L. Whitcomb from Muskogee, Oklahoma wrote a letter to Senator Elmer E. Thomas requesting an appointment to discuss Indian road construction. In response, Virginia Smith, on behalf of Senator Thomas, acknowledged the letter and informed Whitcomb that the Senator was on the West Coast and planned to return to Washington in December. Smith offered assistance and assured that the letter would be brought to the Senator's attention.
