- Description:
- The United States Government is holding an auction sale of Indian timber land in the Choctaw Nation on May 6, 1937. The regulations state that the land, totaling 22,894.55 acres, will be sold in one unit at public auction. No cutting or removal of timber or minerals is allowed until final payment is made.
