- Senator Elmer Thomas is responding to a letter from Tom Anglin regarding the Barnett matter. He reassures Anglin that the Indian Office is proceeding with the case despite protests from Tulsa claimants. Thomas expresses hope that the case can be resolved quickly and offers his assistance. Anglin, on behalf of the Jackson Barnett Estate, thanks Thomas for his support and asks for his help in addressing protests to contracts between fullblood claimants. Anglin believes that only the Siah Barnett heirs have a right to the estate and urges for a quick resolution to the litigation. Both Thomas and Anglin express gratitude for each other's assistance.
