- Description:
- Senator Elmer Thomas received a report from the Office of Indian Affairs regarding a matter he was interested in and forwarded it to Honorable Tom Anglin. The report pertained to Section 14 of the Act of April 26, 1906. The Indian Office was unable to locate the original draft of the legislation, but suggested obtaining a copy from the H. R. Document Room. The letter also mentioned briefs filed by B. B. Blakeney, Esq. regarding the status of certain lands within the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations. Senator Thomas was advised to refer to the enclosed Indian Office letter sent to Honorable Tom Anglin for further information.
