- Description:
- The Osage Tribal Council is opposed to any annexation of Osage County by municipalities outside of the county, as it would negatively impact the Osage Tribe's property rights and tax base. They are particularly concerned about a potential annexation by the City of Tulsa and have requested that their representatives in Congress oppose any legislation aimed at changing the boundaries of Osage County. The council adopted Resolution No. 18-117 to formalize their opposition and have sent copies to relevant government officials.
