- Description:
- Mr. Rucker, a Veteran of Foreign Wars, wrote to Congressman Schwabe urging him to use his influence to bring three bills beneficial to veterans out of the committees they were assigned to. Congressman Schwabe responded, explaining that he was not on the committees in charge of these bills and that it was unlikely they would be acted upon soon due to the priority of other legislation. He assured Mr. Rucker that he would consider the bills if they were brought before the House for consideration.
