- Description:
- Mr. C. B. McAllister wrote to Congressman George Schwabe urging him to vote against the $25 per week deferred labor proposal of the President, as he believed it would encourage idleness and unemployment. Congressman Schwabe responded, agreeing with McAllister's views and stating that he was already on record against the proposition. Schwabe thanked McAllister for his input and assured him that he would vote the way McAllister requested.
