- Description:
- Congressman Schwabe received a letter from Miss Betty Larkin expressing her support for the O.P.A. and disagreeing with his statement that all farmers are opposed to it. Schwabe responds by stating that he has received letters from farmers expressing their opposition to O.P.A. He believes that the majority of farmers in the Middle West are against O.P.A. due to its abuses and discrimination. Schwabe appreciates hearing different views from his constituents and values knowing their sentiments in order to represent them effectively in Congress.
