- Description:
- Mr. Lee Clinton wrote a letter to George B. Schwabe expressing his views on the continuation of the O.P.A. Schwabe had conducted a referendum in his district which showed that a majority of people were against the O.P.A. Schwabe believes that it is important for the American people to express their views on controversial issues. Clinton, in his response, questions Schwabe's support for the O.P.A. and suggests that it is important to protect the interests of those who suffer from high prices. Clinton also expresses gratitude towards Schwabe's secretary for her assistance.
