- Description:
- The document from Miss Ora Mae Bassett expresses her disapproval of the handling of the Office of Price Administration (O.P.A.) and her belief that it has outlived its usefulness. She believes that the O.P.A. is in the hands of Socialistic minded individuals and that it is not functioning in a democratic way. Miss Bassett urges Representative George B. Schwabe to not support legislation that would give the O.P.A. unchecked power for another year and instead suggests that the Legislative Branch of the government should have a chance to address the issue.
