Members of the National Federation of Federal Employees Local 42 in Oklahoma City are requesting the support of Honorable George B. Schwabe for proposed pay increases for Federal Employees in order to bring their salaries in line with those in commercial wage settlements. They are advocating for a flat 20% increase over the current salary scale to address higher living costs. They believe recent reports of larger pay increases for Federal Employees are misleading and actually represent only about an average 8% addition to present salaries.
