- The Hominy Ministerial Alliance sent a letter to Congressman Schwabe urging him to support an anti-strike measure in order to prevent an economic crisis and potential civil unrest. They expressed their concern for the well-being of American employers and employees and requested his attention to the issue upon his return to Washington.
