- Description:
- The bill H.R. 3611 authorizes an appropriation of $776,742.03 to be paid to the Osage Tribe of Indians for the sale of their lands by the United States. The amount will be distributed according to rules and regulations governing payments to Osage Tribe members and will settle the tribe's claim against the United States under a treaty from 1865. The Secretary of the Interior is authorized to pay the fees and expenses of the tribe's attorneys from the appropriation.
