- Mr. B. A. Lewis, an attorney, wrote to Honorable George Schwabe, a Member of Congress, requesting a copy of the Indian title validating act recently passed by Congress. Schwabe responded that he will send a copy as soon as it is printed and available for distribution. Lewis expressed his interest in the legislation and asked about the prospects of it becoming a law. Schwabe assured Lewis that he will receive a copy of the act and offered his assistance anytime.
