- Description:
- Mr. Boyd L. Brown, Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners in Pawnee, Oklahoma, wrote to Congressman George Schwabe inquiring about any restrictions issued by the War Production Board prohibiting County Fairs. Congressman Schwabe responded that there were no restrictions passed by Congress, but that the ODT had issued orders allowing County Fairs to be held with permission and approval. He enclosed an application form and stated that only local county exhibits were allowed. Schwabe advised Brown to follow the regulations set by the bureau.
