- Description:
- George B. Schwabe, a member of the House of Representatives, received a letter from the Commissioner of Internal Revenue regarding a constituent's 1944 income tax liability. The Commissioner explained that the tax calculated by the Collector of Internal Revenue was correct based on the income and deductions of the constituent.
