The Federal Works Agency Bureau of Community Facilities has approved the advance of Federal funds for the plan preparation of various public works projects in Oklahoma, such as public buildings, drainage facilities, street facilities, water and sewer facilities, hospital facilities, school facilities, and more. The purpose of these advances is to encourage states and their agencies to prepare drawings and specifications for construction projects so they can promptly begin construction when materials and manpower become available.
