- John W. Ervin of Fidelity National Bank & Trust Company in Oklahoma City wrote a letter to Senator Mike Monroney expressing support for the Sonic boom studies being conducted in the area. Despite potential property damage, Ervin believes the tests should continue for the benefit of aviation and national recognition. Senator Monroney thanked Ervin for his support and forwarded his statement to the Federal Aviation Agency.
