- Description:
- Roy Skaggs wrote a letter to Senator A.S. Mike Monroney regarding a missing 10-acre fraction of land that should have been allotted to him as a member of the Cherokee Tribe of Indians. Senator Monroney forwarded the letter to the Bureau of Indian Affairs for investigation and promised to write back with a report once they have more information.
