- Mrs. Gladys Narcomey wrote a letter to Senator Mike Monroney regarding the legality of a meeting of the Kiowa-Comanche-Apache General Council held on January 19, 1963. She explains that they ousted the Business committee and are seeking to create a new constitution to improve the tribal government and general welfare. Senator Monroney replied, stating that the matter has been brought to the Bureau of Indian Affairs for review and an opinion will be rendered soon.
