- Mrs. Barbara Mayfield Gardner wrote to Senator Monroney inquiring about the disposition of judgment funds in Dockets 67, 124-A and 251. Senator Monroney responded, stating that funds were provided for in a supplemental appropriations bill and legislation to authorize distribution of the funds was being drafted by the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He expressed confidence that the legislation would be enacted in the near future.
