- Description:
- The map depicts the Taiwan Straits, providing details on the size and population of various regions. It includes both Chinese and English labels. Blue pen inscriptions are present on both the front and back of the map. Accompanying the map are seven small pieces of paper filled with notes. Major General S. K. Hu, a relative of Jenny Hu from O.U., sent the map and notes to Monroney. The map, which measures 8 x 5 7/8 inches, bears an inscription in blue pen: To my friend Mike Monroney with esteem and respect. SK Hu Maj. Gen. Chinese Air Force.
