- Mrs. Leonard Rosenthal, an instructor of Sociology at the University of Texas at Arlington, invited LaDonna Harris, President of the University of Texas at Arlington, to speak to her class on minorities. LaDonna Harris expressed her interest in speaking to the class, but explained that she did not have plans to visit the area at that time. She recommended contacting Mrs. Iola Taylor as a potential speaker. Mrs. Rosenthal expressed her desire to have LaDonna Harris speak to her class and hoped for the opportunity to meet her in the future.
