- The Executive Committee of Americans for Indian Opportunity, Inc. met to determine the separation pay for the outgoing Executive Director, Iola Hayden. They decided that she would receive pay from the date of separation to the end of October, with the condition that she continue to support the organization. The payments would be placed in escrow and released to her on the condition that she upheld her agreement. The meeting was then adjourned.
