- Description:
- Mabry Blaylock wrote to Senator Fred Harris about his brother Morris's concerns regarding the efficiency and personnel of the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Alaska. Morris is disturbed by the failure of the Bureau to fulfill promises made to personnel and its effects on morale. Blaylock asks Harris to review the materials and return them, and suggests that Morris give Harris a briefing on Eskimos and the reindeer industry in Alaska. Blaylock also compliments Harris on his representation of Oklahoma in the Senate. Harris responds with thanks and offers assistance to Blaylock and his brother.
