- The letter is in response to Sam L. Liles regarding the distribution of funds from the estate of Flora House. The Bureau of Indian Affairs confirms that Johnson is the surviving husband of Flora House and suggests that the funds be distributed to him and LeForce as per a court judgment. They agree to pay the uncontroversial portion of the money to Johnson and wait for him and LeForce to resolve their claim to the remainder.
