Description:

Mrs. Addie McCracken wrote to Senator Fred Harris regarding difficulties in obtaining funds for her daughter's education at Oklahoma State University. Senator Harris contacted the Bureau of Indian Affairs to look into the matter. The Bureau responded, explaining the challenges with funding delays but assuring that Miss McCracken would receive financial assistance.
