Description:

The letter from the Bureau of Indian Affairs responds to a request for funding for a bilingual program for Indian students in Tulsa public schools. The Bureau states that it is not their policy to fund such programs, but suggests that the United States Office of Education may be able to provide funding through Titles I, III, and VII of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act.
