- Description:
- H. C. Paulsen, manager of the Southern Hotel in El Reno, Oklahoma, writes to Honorable L.M. Gensman recommending J.E. Shields for the position of Principal at the Cheyenne and Arapahoe Indian School. Paulsen praises Shields' qualifications and asks for Gensman's help in securing the appointment. Gensman responds, stating that he has recommended Shields to Commissioner Burke based on Paulsen's and others' endorsements, and promises to assist in any way he can.
