- Description:
- Mrs. Rhodes wrote a letter in support of including Merchant Marine veterans in the G.I. Bill of Rights. Mrs. Douglas, who is currently in California, is also in support of this inclusion and will make efforts to have them included. Mrs. Rhodes also expressed concern about her son, who is in the merchant marine service and may not qualify for the benefits of the G.I. Bill. She is urging for the passage of the bill to provide the same benefits to Merchant Marine veterans.
