- Description:
- This bill, introduced by Mr. Steiger of Arizona, authorizes the funds appropriated to pay a judgment in favor of the Havasupai Tribe of Indians to be used for purposes approved by the tribal governing body and the Secretary of the Interior. It also exempts per capita distributions from income taxes and protects the interests of minors and individuals under legal disability. The Secretary of the Interior is authorized to establish rules and regulations to implement the provisions of the bill.
