- The Indian School Journal reports on the arrival of four new teachers at Chilocco, Oklahoma, through the Title I Project. The program aims to help lower the student drop-out rate and keep students from getting homesick. Parents visited the campus and participated in classes and meals with students. The Chilocco Indian Cross-Country Team and football team are also highlighted, along with enrollment numbers and the success of the start of the school year. The Chilocco Choir performed at the Oklahoma Indian Trades Fair. The importance of attendance and class adjustments are emphasized.
