- Description:
- Regulations have been issued to govern the distribution of nearly $3 million awarded to the Confederated Tribes of Weas, Piankashaws, Peorias, and Kaskaskias by the Indian Claims Commission. The funds will be distributed on a per capita basis to eligible individuals, with applications for enrollment needing to be filed by May 15, 1973. The roll of eligible individuals will be updated to include children born between specific dates and to remove deceased enrollees.
