- Description:
- The Inter-Tribal Council of the Five Civilized Tribes sent a resolution to Congressman Camp regarding the realignment of the Bureau of Indian Affairs and expressed concerns about delays in delivering services to Indian people. They urged for the proposed realignment to proceed without interference and for the Subcommittee to refrain from involvement in the process. They also called for the President to instruct his staff to assist but not hinder the restructuring of the BIA.
