- Description:
- The Creek Indian Council passed a resolution urging the Bureau of Indian Affairs to continue giving preference in employment to Native American Indians. The resolution highlighted the need for qualified Indian individuals to be considered for employment opportunities. The Bureau assured that the existing policy of giving preference to qualified persons entitled to Indian preference will be continued, and more Indians have been appointed to the Bureau as they qualify for employment.
